Three Peas in a Pod
How We Hand Fed and Raised Our Baby Cockatiels
Hand feeding and raising baby cockatiels is a lot of work, but it's also a rather rewarding experience when all is said and done. And it's also a lot of fun along the way. When our 3 cockatiel eggs first hatched, we went online to find out exactly how we were supposed to do things, and what we found was that there were dozens of websites about it and many of them said something different. The main problem is that many people make it sound very technical and extremely hard, but in all reality it's not that big of an ordeal. My 8 year old sister raised her own bird with no problems. We developed our own way of doing things, and they worked out very well for us, so I decided what better thing to do than to make a little website of my own telling people how we did things, and how it's not nearly as hard as many people make it seem.
It's very important that you read the whole story, because there's a lot of important info mixed in with every little "chapter". But if you've been here before, or are just coming here with one thing in mind, the chapters are seperated below for you to see. Again, though, it's highly recommended that you read the whole story.
**We're not guaranteeing that this way will work for everybody, but it worked very well for us and produced very normal and healthy birds. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY WHO'S TRYING TO HAND FEED AND RAISE BABY BIRDS! :)
